Top Family Friendly Caravan Parks Darwin

Darwin Freespirit Resort

You guessed it, the Darwin Freespirit Resort is at the top of the list because it is such an amazing caravan park. With 3 swimming pools, jumping pillow and a fantastic kids activity program, it definetly will keep the kids happy. But it hasn’t forgotten about the parents as well! It has a fantastic pool side Bar and Bistro area where you can enjoy a cool drink while listening to a some great music. The caravan park has some beautiful tropical gardens and it was so nice to have some lush green grass. Darwin Freespirit Resort is pretty amazing but it does come with a pretty hefty price tag. Just with all caravan parks in Darwin they do charge extra per child.

Hidden Valley Caravan Park

We stayed at the Hidden Valley Caravan Park for over a month while we were in Darwin. We really loved that it was a smaller caravan park and the fees were pretty reasonable. We managed to get a great ensuite site for less then what we were paying for a grassed site in another caravan park. Hidden Valley Caravan Park has lots of tropical trees an some fantastic shady sites. It has a swimming pool and a small cafe that operates in peak season. If your looking for somewhere

Discovery Park Darwin

Discovery Park Darwin is a great caravan park that is quiet close to Darwin city. If you are a Discovery Park member then you can save yourself a little bit of money here by using your membership. This park has great size sites with two swimming pools to choose from. If also has a bus stop out the front  of the park that will take you into the heart of Darwin.

Robbie Robbins Reserve

Is a great option if your coming to Darwin and want to save yourself a little money. The fees are reasonable as it doesn’t have any of the bells and whistle that the caravan parks have. Robbie Robbins Reserve is a large grassed oval type of accommodation with some powered and nonpowered sites available. This reserve does not take bookings and works on the bases of first in first served. We found the caretakers really lovely and helpful.

“Barra Park” Fishing and Conservation Park.

Is a really small fishing farm located a little further out of Darwin in xxx. This park has a small number of shaded sites located right on the water. The Barra Park is a great option if you are wanting to save some money. But as it is only a small park then make sure you book in advance to secure your site and don’t miss out.

Heading to Darwin and looking for an awesome caravan park without damaging the hip pocket? Then look no futher then Hidden Valley Caravan Park or what I like to call it “Hidden Little Gem!”.

What makes this caravan park so special

Close the the city

This beautiful caravan park is only xxkm from Darwin city. With only a 5 minute walk to the main road you can catch a bus straight into the city which is so convienient.

Tropical Oasis

The park is filled with beautiful trees and offers ample shade which is great in these warmer months. It’s so nice to wake up listening to all the bird life in the park.

Fantastic Customer Service

Since arriving in this beautiful park the staff have been so amazing and making us feel at home. They have gone above and beyond to find us an amazing site that will accomodate our van and boat. Because this caravan park is smaller you do get more of a personal service.

Competive Prices

We couldn’t believe we could get a great site with a large ensuite for a similar price to a pretty average grassed site in another caravan park we had been staying at. The ensuite is two room which makes it a great option for us to secure some items and gives us more space.
